Your Group can Experience Team Building Techniques at The Esmeralda!

Leadership/TeamBuilding Training – Let professionals facilitate your group in the areas of leadership training and team building.  Whether your group has ten members or 100, whether you want to be indoors or outdoors, we can customize a program to fit your needs.  These programs focus groups on achieving a common goal while at the same time providing a shared experience to draw on at a later time.  Activities are designed to build morale, emphasize leadership skills, develop and define communication styles, and highlight complementary strengths.  Some representative activities include:

• Icebreakers – Funderbirds, Wah, Bobsled
• Concentration Squares –Participants engage in a varied game of concentration and then using “magic” squares, must get their entire team across an imaginary river.  Team Building Skills and Concepts:  Knowledge sharing, communication and learning styles.
• Bull Ring – Participants are organized into teams whereby the challenge is to carry a ball using a metal ring and twine onto a goal such as a piece of PVC pipe.  Team Building Skills and Concepts:  Communication styles, leadership skills.
• Helium Sticks – Two groups of people are lined up facing each other.  A long, thin rod is placed on the group's index fingers.  The goal is to lower the rod to the ground without the rod losing contact with any person’s index fingers.   Team Building Skills and Concepts: Communication, knowledge sharing, problem solving abilities.
• Egg Drop - Small groups use various materials to design an egg package to save an egg from breaking when dropped.   Team Building Skills and Concepts:  Leadership and communication skills, critical nature of teamwork

Duration – 2 to 4 hours

Price – $400.00 (1 facilitator for 2 hours) and up (depending on duration and size of the group).

Build-A-Bike – Build bikes for charity while at the same time using different methods of management styles to facilitate team building.  Each team will be given the tools to put together bikes while different challenges are presented to the teams to address leadership and communication skills.  At the end of the day, in addition to having bikes to donate to a worthy charity of the group’s choosing, your team will have learned to incorporate different goals and objectives into the work environment while even furthering a cohesive team.

• Orientation and Icebreakers

• Build-A-Bike while being challenged with an assembly line environment; dealing with supply and communication issues; and/or being challenged with different managers tasked with different goals and objectives.

• Obstacle Course with completed bikes

• Team Building / Leadership Training Programs (½ day): custom pricing by request (generally $100 per person for 1-50 participants; $75 per person for 50+ participants; minimum $1500 for ½ day event; does not include the price of the bikes)

Team Building Skills and Concepts:  How to incorporate different goals and objectives into the work environment (quality, corporate culture, speed to market) while maintaining a cohesive team.

Survival – Learn everything you wanted to know about survival methods while at the same time helping your team build trust and camaraderie.  We will spend the day with your group showing them how to build a fire and shelter, teaching them various forms of first aid, how to “hunt” for food and orienteering.  All teams will then put a complete campsite together.  At the end of the event, your employees will have participated in a memorable event that strengthened ties with their co-workers both at the time and into the future.
